Need something that doesn't exist off the shelf? Our in-house engineering team designs custom load cells — non-standard capacities, mountings and enclosures — from specification through to calibration. We also supply Omega and other branded load cells, and offer repair, recalibration and replacement for sensors already in service.

What is a load cell and how does it work? A load cell is a sensor that converts mechanical force — compression, tension or torque — into an electrical signal, which is then read by an indicator or controller to display weight or force values.
How do I choose the right load cell capacity? The capacity should match the maximum force or weight expected in your application, with some safety margin. Our team can help you select the right type and capacity based on mounting space, environment and accuracy requirements.

What's the difference between a compression load cell and an S-Type load cell? A compression load cell measures only compressive (pushing) forces and is typically used for heavy press or structural testing. An S-Type load cell can measure both tension and compression and is commonly used in hopper, crane and hanging-scale applications.
Do you provide load cell calibration and repair services? Yes. We repair, recalibrate and replace faulty load cells — including Omega and other branded load cells — to restore accuracy in existing weighing and testing systems.
